  Volunteers are special people!

As a volunteer with The Fatherhood Connection, you can help fathers overcome barriers, build lasting relationships,
offer  hope, create healthier families and healthier communities and have fun too! Whether you want to make a long or short-term commitment, there are volunteer opportunities for everyone. And here are just a few…

Special Events: (i.e., Daddy and Daughter Sweetheart Dance, Fathers & Family Bike Ride, and others. These events benefit The Fatherhood Connection and partner organizations in our effort to promote fatherhood in our community.

Direct Mailing: Volunteers assist in preparations for direct mail campaigns, including assembly, stuffing and sealing envelopes and postage.

Supervised Visitation: Trained volunteer staff help with court ordered supervision of parents and children. Parents have weekly visits with their children on site in the evening. The visits are monitored by staff who observe the parent/child interaction, behavior, and conversation. A progress report is submitted to the Court.

Advocates: Our young dad will not only need a male mentor but an advocate, someone to speak on his behalf; an adult willing to guide and show him what to do (and what not to do) like a father. This is a great opportunity to be a positive influence for a young man who is about to travel a difficult road. What did you do well? What things would you have done differently? Tell him about it!

Please complete the volunteer form below. There is no obligation, simply tell us who you are and we will secure your information. You can decide how often you want to help; once or twice per month, once per week, whatever you feel comfortable with. We will also contact you by email to see if you are available for upcoming events. If you're available, great if not then maybe for some other event.

Thank you so much. Be blessed!
